Clavue Chat (Web)

Web Chat is the lightweight browser surface for official models: Ask / Plan / Agent modes, Imagine, Discover connectors, boost packs, and conversation history. Same account and quota as imux official models, TUI, Bot, and API — but not a desktop IDE and not Clavue Bot.

Open Chat

Use chat.clavue.com directly. The www playground path redirects to the same chat host.

  • Sign in — www.clavue.com/account (same session as mobile and IDE)

Ask / Plan / Agent

Pick a mode from the composer header before you send. Modes change how much planning and tool use the assistant applies.

  • Ask — quick Q&A, minimal tool loop
  • Plan — outlines steps before acting; good for scoped tasks
  • Agent — fuller tool loop for multi-step work (still browser-bound, not imux terminals)

Imagine

Image generation uses the official clavue-img product flow inside Chat. Results appear as Markdown image links in the thread.

  • Open Imagine from the Chat sidebar or mode strip (product UI label may vary by build)
  • Same premium pool as API clavue-img — check Usage if generation fails
  • For inline previews in a repo context, imux Agent Chat may be more convenient

Discover & connectors

Browse the public stores at /plugins and /mcp, or open the Discover panel. Deep links such as chat.clavue.com/plugins and chat.clavue.com/#discover use the same catalog. Web does not install — run clavue plugin install in CLI / TUI.

  • Stores — www.clavue.com/plugins · /mcp and chat.clavue.com/plugins · /mcp
  • Connectors — MCP and integration entries shared with mobile and IDE surfaces
  • Catalog rev updates on CDN — refresh if plugins look stale
  • Not Bot tenant tools — Bot has its own staff + cloud PC workspace at /bot/

Enterprise / commercial API

Other products connect to api.clavue.com with an org key (cv_ent_). Apply commercial (instant) or enterprise (ops review) on the shared account. Every successful key auth records the connecting server IP.

  • Not a billed SKU and not a second login

Models

Use the model picker in the composer. Product ids match /models and api.clavue.com (auto, clavue-2.1, clavue-2.1-fast, clavue-2.1-search, …).

What web Chat is not

Web Chat is the lightweight browser conversation surface — not desktop automation or Bot.

  • Not imux Agent Chat — no Ghostty terminals, socket API, or workspace splits
  • Not Clavue GUI — desktop ledger + Phone Mirror host is /gui
  • Not imux Mobile — phone remote coding uses com.imux.mobile

Shared quota

Turns on web Chat, chat.clavue.com, imux official models, TUI, Bot, and API keys draw from the same Free/Paid pools. Check Account → Usage.

Troubleshooting

Most Chat web issues are login state or exhausted membership pools.

  • 402 / quota exceeded — open www.clavue.com/account → Usage; upgrade or wait for pool reset
  • Login loop — sign out, clear chat.clavue.com cookies, re-login via /account device flow
  • Playground blank — use chat.clavue.com directly if redirect cache is stale
  • Voice not working — check mic permission; voice uses same family pipeline as other Chat surfaces
