imux Mobile

imux Mobile is the remote coding companion: the phone sends tasks and approvals; Mac or Windows imux executes them. Bundle com.imux.mobile. Install from https://www.clavue.com/mobile#imux via latest-imux-mobile.json. The phone never runs shell locally — cloud relay only, no Tailscale or VPN.

Use the imux Mobile section and manifest — do not install Clavue Mobile builds here.

Pair with desktop imux

Both sides use the same Clavue account. Desktop must run protocol 2 and show Online before phone tasks execute.

  • macOS — Settings → imux Mobile → Allow phone control → Show pair code (QR / 8-char / imux://pair deep link)
  • Windows — Settings → imux Mobile · phone link → same flow
  • Phone — imux Mobile → Pair host → enter code or open deep link
  • Repeat for each Mac/Windows host (up to account device cap)
  • Host badge shows Mac/Win and Ready · p2 when protocol ≥ 2

What you can do

Primary loop is multi-host, multi-workspace, multi-terminal — not just Agent Chat.

  • List workspaces and terminal surfaces projected from desktop
  • Inject CLI/TUI keystrokes into a chosen terminal (target: terminal)
  • Run Agent Chat tasks with approvals (target: agent)
  • Approve/deny pending tool writes from phone
  • See CI/PR proposed-action cards from the Mac projection (read-only this slice)
  • Keep desktops awake — phone lists offline hosts but cannot execute there

Proposal cards

The Mac projects open proposed actions onto the phone. The card schema matches the IDE inbox. Approving still happens on the Mac — this slice has no phone decide API.

What imux Mobile is not

imux Mobile is the remote control plane for desktop imux — not the Clavue membership phone app.

  • Not Clavue Mobile — Chat / Imagine / Discover is com.clavue.xw
  • Not local shell — phone is control plane only
  • Not GUI Phone Mirror — that path is Clavue GUI + Clavue Mobile
  • Not the Mac IDE — com.icc.app DMG from iccjk.com / /download

Connection model

Cloud relay via www.clavue.com membership devices/tasks APIs. No Tailscale, no VPN, no inbound ports on your Mac.

Troubleshooting

Pairing and protocol version mismatches are the most common phone-link failures.

  • Host shows old protocol — upgrade desktop imux first, then phone app
  • Pair fails — toggle Allow phone control; regenerate pair code
  • Tasks never run — confirm host Online and same Clavue account
  • Wrong app installed — latest-imux-mobile.json vs latest-mobile.json
