Getting Started
Open Your Repository
Open any Git repository in imux. The source control pill appears automatically in the sidebar showing branch, staged, modified, and untracked counts.
Stage, Diff, and Commit
Use the sidebar to stage files, view diffs inline, and write commit messages. AI assists with commit message generation based on your staged changes.
Manage Branches and PRs
Switch branches from the sidebar. View open pull requests with their status, comments, and CI check results without opening a browser.
Review Code with AI
Select a PR in the sidebar, open Agent Chat with /review, and get AI-powered code review with suggestions for improvements and potential issues.

Does imux replace my Git CLI?
No, imux augments your Git CLI. You can still use all git commands in the terminal. The sidebar provides visual shortcuts for common operations like staging, diffing, and branch switching.
Which Git hosting providers are supported?
imux integrates with GitHub for PR management and issue tracking. Support for GitLab and other providers is planned for future releases.
Can I use imux with monorepos?
Yes. imux tracks the Git state of the repository in each workspace independently. Open separate workspaces for different monorepo packages.
